Nepal Tourist Visa: Indian passport holders do not require a visa to visit Nepal.
However, when traveling to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu from any international airport in India, Indian citizens must present either a valid Indian passport or a Voter Identity Card (Indian Electoral Card).
Please note that Aadhaar Cards and Driving Licenses are not accepted as valid documents for boarding a flight to Kathmandu from Indian airports.
For all non-Indian passport holders, a Nepal visa is available on arrival at Kathmandu International Airport.
Non-Indian passport holders may also apply for the Nepal entry visa online to save time upon arrival at the airport.
Tibet Group Travel Visa:
Indian passport holders, regardless of their country of residence or geographical location, must present their original passport at the China Embassy in New Delhi through the tour company that has obtained the necessary Tibet entry permit and invitations for them.
The China Embassy in Delhi takes a minimum of 4-5 working days to process the visa decision.
All other travelers holding a non-Indian passport (including NRIs with non-Indian passports, OCI cardholders, and Green Card holders) must go through biometrics at the China Visa Center in Kathmandu for submission of their China entry visa application.
The original passport, visa application documents, and recent color photographs (in a prescribed size and format) are required to be submitted to the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu.
The Chinese Embassy takes a minimum of 3-4 working days to process the visa decision.
Important Remark: Safety Precautions
As you are now traveling in high altitude, there may be some discomfort or health-related issues.
It is advised to all travelers to drink as much liquid as possible, including soup, juice, tea, coffee, or hot water.
This will help in rehydration and improving your breathing system.
Accommodation Note: Hotel/Guest House/Camping on twin sharing basis.
Note: During the 3-day Kailash Parvat Parikarma, no attached toilet or bathroom accommodations are available. Toilets and bathrooms are separate/open, as per Tibetan traditions.
Booking Timeline: Normal booking requires at least 45 days in advance.
Note: For full moon departures, earlier booking confirmation is required due to limited facilities en route.
Yatra Booking Process: Booking is confirmed upon paying 30% of the total cost in advance.

For Yatris Aged 70 and Above:
Must submit a medical examination report from a government hospital within 6 months before travel.
USD $1000 security deposit is required by Tibetan/Chinese authorities before entering Tibet.
Health check by Tibetan doctors is mandatory before Parikarma. Participation is allowed only upon approval.
All dues must be cleared before the yatra departure from Kathmandu.
